Our coffee is really, really good. In fact, as well as being Fairtrade, all of our coffees are rated Specialty Grade or higher by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (the SCAA), making them among the best-tasting coffees in the world. You can read more about each of our roasts here.
Perhaps like you, we don’t think you should have to compromise taste or quality when you buy Fairtrade coffee. That’s why we work hard to find farms and co-ops who are producing top rate coffee but also meeting the stringent criteria needed to achieve Fairtrade standard.
When possible, we also source coffees that are Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified.
Honest Business Practice
Fairtrade coffee means our growers get a fixed minimum price on top of a Fairtrade premium, and this helps them invest in their—and their farms’—futures. We actively look to source coffees from co-operatives that are doing something a bit special, such as supporting womens’ weaving groups.
And with the machines that we sell, we keep our customers’ needs at the core of everything we do. We don’t want to oversell, or overcharge; we don’t think that’s good business practice. We believe in being straightforward, honest and helpful, and aim to reflect our values in all that we do.
