Give your coffee machine the ultimate protection against difficult to remove built ups with the BWT Bestprotect 2XL water filter. The Bestprotect filter particularly targets calcium ions, limescale deposits and gypsum to keep your machine running smoothly. The risk of corrosion is minimised through mineral balancing and a reliably high pH value in the filtrate.
The five stage filter process removed large particles like sand and rust, oxidants and hardening substances in the first three stages. The fourth stage is an active carbon membrane that removes organic substances, chlorine and unwanted tastes and odours to produce a high quality coffee. Finally, a fine particle filter, which also filter bypass water, eliminated fine particles and suspended matter to finish the process of producing a clear water perfect for coffee production.
The 2XL Bestprotect water filter has a maximum capacity of 8570 litres in soft water areas such as the South West, reducing to 2220 litres in extremely hard water areas such as those in the South East. This filter is effective at protecting coffee machines in hard water areas where carbonate levels are high and limescale risk are greater.
