The In-Touch selection system allows customers to further customise their drinks by adjusting the levels of milk and sugar as well as the strength of the drink. The Quick Code function can be used to provide a selection number to customised beverages to save them and make it quicker to find next time. The pin code facility allows a personalised code to be enter for a single free vend or to use the jug fill facility which is useful for times when large amounts of coffee need to be prepared such as meetings and corporate events. The Step can be fitted with a range of payments solutions including both coin and cashless.
The Step is fitted with a range of technological features such as the I-Detect feature that ensures a drink is dispensed or your money is returned. It can also detect you own cups as well as dispenser cups. The TextAlert system enables real time reporting of machines issues which helps to minimise downtime and improve customer service. The Step also features a range of environmental benefits including an advanced energy saving mode that can save up to 30% in energy consumption, also saving you money. Also the Energy Learn® is a learning technology which monitors usage which informs and adjusts the shutdown or economy mode time period. Energy I-Detect® uses an advanced motion detector detects a user approaching the machine and switches from energy saving mode to fully functioning. This machine is also 90% recyclable at the end of its life resulting in less waste ending up in landfill.
