WEGA Polaris Compatta
Commercial Machine | Espresso

The WEGA Polaris has a domineering appearance with true character and heart to make this espresso machine really stand out on the coffee bar. Even the WEGA Polaris Compatta is bold enough to stand its ground amongst larger machines. Embracing aerodynamic and futuristic shapes and RGB LED lighting on the side panels and backlit keypad system- this espresso machine is both eye-catching and elegant.

Available in two different versions, the electronic and the semi-automatic, the WEGA Polaris Compatta is able to offer versatility and ability to meet individual demands. By setting two groups into a one group setting, this espresso machine gets the most it can out of a small footprint.

The electronic version offers 4 programmable doses per group as well as manual brewing buttons. The semi-automatic version of the WEGA Polaris Compatta features electromechanical push buttons for easy control. Despite their compact size, these espresso machines are able to offer two steam wands with sliding lever control and a hot water wand. These coffee machines support an autolevel and volumetric pump.

By having two groups within a compact footprint, this espresso machine would be well suited to cafes, bars and restaurants that have limited space but still wish to offer high quality coffee.

Runs well

The Wega runs well, producing a good quality tasting coffee. It's not the quickest and it sometimes spurts out from when you put it into contact with the machine, I think it does that if it's overfilled, I'm not really sure, but it makes a real mess when that happens

Fairly straightforward

The Polaris is fairly good to use, I like the little images of coffee cups it has on the top. I also like the Matt finish it has so you don't have to worry about water drops drying onto the machine

Steady away

The Paris is quite steady, reliable though and makes a half decent coffee in fairness. Cleaning duties are not massive so it's good all round

The Polaris isn't a bad machine at all, ,

The only gripe I have with the Polaris is when putting a pot of tea under the water nozzle and steaming milk in the same side, it splashes out and proper knacks when it catches your arm

Used not very frequently

We cater for the super healthy, smoothie type of market, so the coffee machine is used mainly for hot water, it seems like a sturdy enough machine though

Not used for making coffees loads

To be fair, the Wega isn't used for our clientele much regarding coffee, our USP is more leafy and fruity but we use it a lot for hot water for herbal teas and what have you

Makes a good coffee

The Wega is a reliable, very sturdy sort of machine that hasn't caused many problems breaking down. It's serviced regularly which I think is crucial for continuous good beverage quality

You can count on the wega

The Wega has always been reliable with the ability to make a great coffee with minimal fuss. I've never really used coffee machines loads before, so it took a little while to get used to using and cleaning, but it's very easy once you know

Pretty simple

The Polaris works well for our requirements. The design and layout of the buttons is clear and simple for the user, and it's not a total nightmare cleaning the machine down

No problems whatsoever good use from it. Occasional breakdown with general wear and tear.
